Basketball Recap: Rockwell Christian School Takes a Loss

Rockwell Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 82-61 to the New Manna Christian Wind. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 65-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Blade Baker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for New Manna Christian, shooting 6-for-10 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 50 points and nine boards. Those 50 points gave Baker a new career-high. Micah Wagner was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds.

Rockwell Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for New Manna Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwell Christian School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Manna Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 10th.
