Football Recap: Pine Eagle Comes Up Short

Pine Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against Prairie City/Burnt River, falling 58-0. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 72-0 to Prairie City/Burnt River when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pine Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Prairie City/Burnt River, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

As of now, neither Pine Eagle nor Prairie City/Burnt River have any future games scheduled.
