Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the San Mateo Bearcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for San Mateo, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Jefferson will look to defend their home court on Thursday against KIPP SF College Prep at 5:00 p.m. Jefferson is facing KIPP SF College Prep at the right time seeing as KIPP SF College Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for San Mateo, they are taking a road trip to square off against Menlo-Atherton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Menlo-Atherton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something San Mateo surely won't give up without a fight.
