Softball Recap: Mandeville Beats Cabrini for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Mandeville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Cabrini Crescents 16-1. The game marked the Skippers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Zoe Burg looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ella Matthews was a standout: she scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Those stolen bases were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Grace Richard, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Mandeville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
