Basketball Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. DeSoto County Bulldogs

Sebring hasn't had much luck against DeSoto County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sebring Blue Streaks will venture away from home to face off against the DeSoto County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. DeSoto County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Sebring, who comes in off a win.

Sebring will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Avon Park, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Sebring blew past Avon Park 55-33 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Blue Streaks have posted since December 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, DeSoto County played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Charlotte, falling 70-35. The Bulldogs were down 53-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

The win was the third in a row for Sebring, bringing their record for this year to 12-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for DeSoto County, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
