Soccer Recap: Andrean Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hebron on Thursday, Andrean came back down to earth. The Fighting 59ers fell just short of the Portage Indians by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Andrean in their meetings with Portage: they've now lost five in a row.

Andrean hit Portage with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabe Williams, Liam O'Brien, and Josh Forrester.

Andrean's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Portage, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

Andrean has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Morgan Township on the 9th. As for Portage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Hanover Central on the 8th.
