Basketball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

Huntington suffered their biggest defeat since January 9th on Friday. They had to suffer through a 66-33 loss at the hands of the Jordan Valley Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Locomotives can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 31st).

Huntington's loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Jordan Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Huntington has already played their next match (against Dayville/Monument), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jordan Valley also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Four Rivers.
