Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pierce County walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ringgold Tigers 45-7. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pierce County's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Ringgold, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Pierce County will square off against Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so the Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them. Ringgold does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
