Basketball Game Preview: Van Buren Pointers vs. Olathe North Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Van Buren Pointers will head out on the road to face off against the Olathe North Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Van Buren is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Van Buren saw some tournament action on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over Glendale.

Meanwhile, Olathe North had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 76-62 win over Park Hill.

Van Buren has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Olathe North, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
