Basketball Recap: North Bend Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

North Valley came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against North Bend, but Hunter Christensen wouldn't allow it. The North Bend Bulldogs came out on top against the North Valley Knights by a score of 62-52 on Tuesday thanks in part to Christensen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

Another player making a difference was Conner Johnson, who posted 11 points and five assists. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

With the win, North Bend broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for North Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

North Bend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-36 loss against Philomath on the 19th. As for North Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-68 defeat against Klamath Union on the 19th.
