Volleyball Recap: Valley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rifle Bears on Saturday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Valley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

The victory snapped Valley's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 8-15 record. As for Rifle, their defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-22.

As of now, neither Valley nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
