Softball Recap: Hobbs Eagles vs. Clovis Wildcats
Hobbs put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They never let the Clovis Wildcats onto the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Hobbs who now have seven in a row.
Ailea Trevizo looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Marissa Young was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Edyth Chavez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
