Baseball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Franklin County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 16-1 to the Madison Central Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Flyers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Madison Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Franklin County will head out to challenge Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-6 defeat against Harrison County on the 19th.
