Softball Recap: Lebanon Drops Highest Score of Season Against South Albany

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon). They put the hurt on the South Albany Redhawks with a sharp 26-16 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Lebanon got a massive performance out of Tatum Cole, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 2-for-3. Those six RBI gave Cole a new career-high. Mahala Pyle was another key player, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lebanon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Lebanon's record is now 5-11. As for South Albany, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
