Basketball Recap: Wahama Takes a Loss

Wahama suffered their biggest defeat since February 7, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by the St. Marys Blue Devils 68-22. The game marked the White Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Addie Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Marys, going 9 of 17 en route to 23 points along with four steals and three blocks. Brynnley Bulluck was another key player, going 5 for 11 on her way to 16 points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Wahama dropped their record down to 6-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Marys, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Wahama will venture away from home to take on Ravenswood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Marys has already played their next match (against Wheeling Central Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
