Basketball Recap: Hortonville Polar Bears vs. Appleton North Lightning
After flying high against Oshkosh West last Tuesday, Hortonville came back down to earth. The Hortonville Polar Bears came up short against the Appleton North Lightning on Friday, falling 79-58. The Polar Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lightning apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Hortonville now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Appleton North, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kimberly the next time they take the court. Hortonville will head out to face Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Appleton North will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
