Chavez extends road winning streak to seven

Recap: Chavez vs. Kennedy
The Chavez Titans came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand Kennedy a 2-0 shutout. Chavez's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Leonel Martinez and
Bryan Ramirez, who scored both of Chavez's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.
Chavez's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those seven matchups. As for Kennedy, they now have a losing record at 9-10-4.
Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kennedy also has no future games currently scheduled.
