Volleyball Recap: Presley Ducote Key Part of Team Effort in Cardinals Win

Bridge City won the last time they faced Dayton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Broncos.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridge City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Presley Ducote, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs gave Ducote a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Britten, who had 16 digs and three assists.

Bridge City's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Bridge City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hudson on the 21st. As for Dayton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pantego Christian on the 21st.
