With a playoff game on the line, Mena rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Pocahontas Redskins 3-0.

Loss or not, Pocahontas got some senior leadership from Phyanna Echeverria and Lauren Chester. Echeverria had 15 digs, two kills, and two blocks, while Chester had 12 digs and eight kills. Those two blocks gave Echeverria a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Violet Lynch, who had ten kills.
