Volleyball Recap: Terre Haute North Vigo Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Bloomington South on Thursday, Terre Haute North Vigo came back down to earth. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Harrison Raiders on Saturday. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10.

Reid Monken paced Terre Haute North Vigo's offense, picking up four kills. Monken got some help from Pierce Lee and his 11 assists.

Terre Haute North Vigo's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Harrison, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Terre Haute North Vigo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Covenant Christian on the 26th. As for Harrison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kokomo on the 26th.
