Mckenzee Petersen Game Report: @ Central

While Silverton might've come up empty on Wednesday, Mckenzee Petersen wasn't going down without a fight. Petersen was unstoppable, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Petersen and Silverton will head out on the road to take on McKay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Petersen's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Foxes' three-game streak of wins on the road.
