Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Beats Leland & Gray for Their Second Straight Victory

Twin Valley won the last time they faced Leland & Gray, and Brayden Brown did his part to make sure it happened again. The Twin Valley Wildcats breezed past the Leland & Gray Rebels to the tune of 79-35 on Friday thanks in part to Brown, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 22 points along with six boards and five assists. The match was his 21st in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Niko Gerding, who went 6-for-11 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Twin Valley and bumps their season record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Leland & Gray, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Twin Valley nor Leland & Gray have any future games scheduled.
