Princess Anne is a perfect 9-0 against Tallwood since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will square off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Princess Anne had taken First Colonial down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The loss was Princess Anne's first of the season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Tallwood was not quite Kellam's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Tallwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Kellam are ranked fourth).

Having lost for the first time this season, Princess Anne fell to 6-1-4. As for Tallwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Princess Anne took their victory against Tallwood in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
