Fairfield and South Webster squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Fairfield had to settle for second. They took a hard 59-44 fall against the South Webster Jeeps. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Eli Roberts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Webster, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Roberts also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Beau Stephens, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for South Webster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-3.

Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Webster, they will square off against Patriot Prep Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Webster knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Patriot Prep Academy likes a good challenge.
