Baseball Recap: Archbishop Mccarthy Has No Trouble Against ABF Academy Homestead

Archbishop McCarthy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt ABF Academy Homestead on Wednesday. Archbishop McCarthy blew past ABF Academy Homestead 13-2. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mavericks yet this season.

Xavier Domenech looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only four hits, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Danny Machado was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. He also launched a home run, which is notable because Archbishop McCarthy is 3-1 when he posts at least one home run, but 6-8 otherwise.
