Softball Recap: Samantha Hopkins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Highlands Christian over Pine Crest

Highlands Christian was the 24-23 winner over Pine Crest when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Highlands Christian wound up with the same score they had in their last game (24-23), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Highlands Christian got a massive performance out of Samantha Hopkins, who scored two runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Madison Brickman was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
