Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cabrina Vanderford and Sophie Flores Lead Clear Falls to Victory

While Clear Falls didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Fossil Ridge Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Leading Clear Falls to victory were Sophie Flores and Cabrina Vanderford. Flores had four aces and three digs, while Vanderford had eight digs. Those four aces gave Flores a new career-high. Lexie Monteleone also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Clear Falls' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fossil Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Clear Falls will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against St. Andrew's at 1:00 p.m. As for Fossil Ridge, they will welcome Cleburne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
