Basketball Recap: Coeur D'alene's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Coeur d'Alene had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Roughriders by a score of 83-75 on Friday.

The win got Coeur d'Alene back to even at 4-4. As for Roosevelt, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coeur d'Alene won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Coeur d'Alene likes a good challenge. As for Roosevelt, they and Clovis West will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Roosevelt is facing Clovis West at the right time seeing as Clovis West is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
