After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Augustine, West Sabine was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Deweyville Pirates as they made off with a 42-18 victory. Considering the Tigers have won three contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Sabine now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Deweyville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, West Sabine and Deweyville will both be playing Colmesneil the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
