Volleyball Recap: Lamar Tigers vs. Miller Cardinals
It was a proper cat-fight when Lamar took on Miller on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost six in a row.
Sophia Haag paced Lamar's offense, picking up nine kills. Haag got some help from Rowan Parks and her 11 assists. Baylee Heckadon controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6-3. As for Miller, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4-1 record this season.
