Volleyball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar lost against Miller two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Sophia Haag paced Lamar's offense, picking up nine kills. Haag got some help from Rowan Parks and her 11 assists. Baylee Heckadon controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 19-6-3. As for Miller, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.

Lamar is taking a road trip to take on Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller has already played their next match (against New Covenant Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
