Basketball Recap: Red Mountain Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

Red Mountain extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Gage Lindsey. The Red Mountain Mountain Lions walked away with a 44-32 victory over the Skyline Coyotes on Friday thanks in part to Lindsey, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Anthony Gamba also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Despite the defeat, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaiah Bowens posted 14 points.

Red Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Red Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-33 win against Dobson on the 21st. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-24 defeat against Mountain View on the 20th.
