Soccer Game Preview: Summit Charter vs. Highlands + How To Watch

The Summit Charter Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Highlands Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Summit Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Andrews on Monday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 8-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Highlands was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Swain County could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Highlands' draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-1. As for Summit Charter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Summit Charter might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Highlands in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bears were down 6-0.
