Volleyball Game Preview: Kearny Komets vs. Morse Tigers + How To Watch

The Kearny Komets will challenge the Morse Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kearny will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Madison, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Komets came out on top against the Warhawks by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Komets.

The win didn't come easy: Madison scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Morse made easy work of Crawford on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Morse was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

Kearny's victory bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Morse, their win bumped their record up to 14-16.

Kearny suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Morse when the teams last played back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Tigers' Hailee Divina, who had five aces and four digs.
