Latin had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Holy Trinity Tigers 52-13. The Romans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Latin, bringing their record for this year to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Holy Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Latin will square off against Chicago Hope Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holy Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
