Softball Recap: Douglass Gets the Win

Douglass had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Kingman/Norwich Eagles 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 6-2 defeat.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-11. As for Kingman/Norwich, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Douglass has already played their next match (against Kingman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kingman/Norwich, they will challenge Pratt at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Greenbacks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
