Softball Recap: Carbon Takes a Loss

Carbon was the 9-3 winner over Canyon View when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Dinos fell 4-1 to the Falcons on Friday. The Dinos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carbon saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shayla Penovich, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Carbon's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Canyon View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Carbon is set to square off against their familiar foe Manti at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canyon View will challenge rival Emery at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
