Greenville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over McKenzie. For Greenville, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory McKenzie walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Greenville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-14, 25-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will welcome Escambia County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McKenzie, they will take on Elba at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
