Softball Recap: Washington's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Washington finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 11-2 to the Waynesburg Central Raiders. The contest marked the Prexies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Washington fell to 4-1. As for Waynesburg Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Frazier at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central will challenge rival California at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
