Baseball Recap: Rowland Comes Up Short

Rowland was the 3-0 winner over Wilson when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Noah Sandez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season. CJ Carrillo was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Rowland's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Wilson, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10.
