Soccer Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Veritas Christian Academy was the 4-2 winner over Wallkill Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Veritas Christian Academy's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9-1. As for Wallkill Valley, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Veritas Christian Academy will head out to face off against Parsippany at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wallkill Valley, they will face off against Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
