Baseball Recap: Hebron Comes Up Short

Hebron suffered their closest loss since April 24, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the South Central Satellites by a score of 8-6. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Satellites recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hebron saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Spencer Spinks, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Spinks has launched this season.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for South Central, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Hebron will host South Newton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Hawks are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for South Central, they will face off against Kouts at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs & Fillies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Satellites' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
