Basketball Recap: Anna Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Anna entered their game against Versailles on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Anna Rockets opened the new year with a less-than-successful 43-32 defeat to the Versailles Tigers. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 38-33 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anna's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Versailles, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jackson Center the next time they take the court. Anna will host Jackson Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Versailles will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on January 11th.
