Baseball Recap: Apollo Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Apollo walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Skyline Coyotes a 4-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won three contests in a row.

The result came thanks to Elias Munoz's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Isaiah Holguin was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Apollo's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Skyline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

As of now, neither Apollo nor the Coyotes have any future games scheduled.
