Softball Recap: Francis Parker Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Francis Parker's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Santa Fe Christian Eagles on Thursday. The Lancers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Francis Parker saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Zborowski, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Zborowski hit this season.

Francis Parker's record is now 1-3. As for Santa Fe Christian, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Francis Parker will venture away from home to face off against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Chula Vista Learning Community Charter has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.33 runs per game on average), something Francis Parker will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Santa Fe Christian, they will be playing at home against Coastal Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
