Football Game Preview: Walnut Ridge Scots vs. Big Walnut Golden Eagles

The Walnut Ridge Scots will take on the Big Walnut Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Walnut Ridge comes in on eight and Big Walnut on nine.

Walnut Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 win over Worthington Kilbourne. The Scots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, while Big Walnut put up plenty of points last Friday, the same can't be said for Westland. The Golden Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 56-0. Considering the Golden Eagles have won eight contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Walnut Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Big Walnut, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
