Volleyball Recap: Joplin Comes Up Short

Joplin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carl Junction Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Joplin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-24-1. As for Carl Junction, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Joplin has already played their next match (against Parkview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Carl Junction, they are taking a road trip to take on West Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
