Baseball Recap: Aztec Comes Up Short

Aztec fell victim to Grand County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Grand County Red Devils, falling 10-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Aztec saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Ray, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Aztec and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Grand County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Aztec will challenge Parowan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand County, they will take on Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
