Basketball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Skates Past Boyle County with Ease

Danville Christian Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Boyle County Rebels 70-35. The contest marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season.

Danville Christian Academy was led to victory by Leek Ateny and Titus Boyd. Ateny dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards, while Boyd went 8 for 13 on his way to 18 points and six steals. Ateny's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lual Ayiei, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks.

Danville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Boyle County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
