After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Appomattox County, Randolph-Henry was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Nottoway Cougars 8-2. Considering the Statesmen have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Randolph-Henry's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Nottoway, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Randolph-Henry is set to square off against their familiar foe Cumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nottoway will take on rival Amelia County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
