Basketball Recap: Denton Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Denton had won two straight home games and Ethan Sheats did his part to make it three on Tuesday. Everything went the Denton Broncos' way against the Richland Royals as the Denton Broncos made off with a 73-47 win thanks in part to Sheats, who posted 29 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Jaleon Jones was another key player, putting up seven points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Denton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season. As for Richland, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-17.
